Two generations and counting...

For Mike Broussard , it's been a lifelong "family affair".

Education: Nicholls State University 1985 - 1986

Local 198 Tech School 1986 - 1990

In 1990,Mike began with Nicholls State University for 1 1/2 years. He then completed a four year apprenticeship at Local 198 in HVAC and Industrial Refrigeration while working summers. In 1996 he received his Louisiana Mechanical license and in 2006 passed exams to further his expertise and knowledge . He has kept up with all continuing education classes through the years to ensure he is providing the best possible service to all of his customers !

Even after Broussard’s Cooling and Heating was born, Mike has continued educating himself and has become a household name in South Louisiana. Mike also have vast experience working with product manufacturers as a management and technical specialist!

In 2021, Mike has decided to expand his business further with his new business partner, his son, John Michael Broussard. Mike says "My greatest reward was my son John Michael Broussard choosing to go into the HVAC industry! "

Technical Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

John Michael has joined Mike in continuing the Broussard's Cooling & Heating LLC tradition of customer excellence along with a vast knowledge of air conditioning and heating systems. Setting themselves apart from others by moving forward in all aspects of creating the best air quality environment for residential and commercial customers alike. John completed River Parish Community College in December of 2020 at the top of his class and he's ready to continue the Broussard Cooling & Heating legacy.
